Father 'Forced To Listen To Children Scream As Estranged Wife Burned Them Alive In Shed'

A woman allegedly locked her three children in a shed and burned them alive, before forcing her husband to listen to them scream over the phone.
Thioro Mbow, 35, reportedly told her husband, Hellmut Ulin, 38, over the phone: ‘I can hear their screams but I will do nothing to save them.
‘You’d better hurry but you will be too late to rescue them, They won’t survive.’
Mr Ulin, from Lennik near Brussels, Belgium, was working 12 miles away on a building site and raced back home in his car as quick as possible.

The Daily Mirror reported he arrived only to find the charred bodies of his beloved daughters Omy, two, Abbygail, four, and Madyson, six.
Another daughter of Ms Mbow from a previous relationship was at school at the time.
Mr Ulin’s wife, from whom he had separated, is alleged to have told him: ‘Ten minutes of screaming and then it was all over.’
Ms Mbow had recently been sent a letter by her husband’s lawyers asking for custody of the children.

Family friend Viviane van Eeckhoudt recalled the scene: ‘There was no chance to save the little ones.
‘The shed was stuffed with paper and the flames were so fierce. It was a horrible death.

‘We saw the mother at the scene. There were no tears in her eyes and she did not seem to be in a panic.’
