Top celebrities in the like of Onyeka Onwenu, Richard Mofe Damiko, Kunle Bantafe, Iretiola Doyle, Ego Boyo,Friends, family, and colleagues yesterday gathered at Haven Gardens
to hold a service of songs and tribute night in hour of late filmmaker,
Amaka Igwe, who passed away on April 29. The tribute session was
anchored by RMD and Iretiola Doyle.Following her death, her husband Mr
Charles Igwe while speaking with delegates from the National Executive
of the National Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners
(NANTAP) blamed doctors for her death, saying if there was no Doctors
Strike his wife would be alive.
