Fresh FM Ibadan is one of the recently licensed radio stations based in Ibadan, Fresh 105.9fm will begins a full commercial broadcast. The station is among the radio stations whose license were approved by the federal government in April.
A release signed by David Ajiboye, the station's Director of Corporate Affairs and Promotions emphasized that the station was given approval to begin test-transmission about a month ago by the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).
Fresh Fm, according to the release is a station with special bias for lifestyle and entertainment programmes.

"The station will now commence a 17-hour transmission of programmes from 5:am - 12 midnight till the end of the year before commencing a round the clock transmission in January 2016.
The NBC granted Yinka Ayefele limited broadcast license on 30th April, 2015 with a transmitting frequency of 105.9MHz after pursuing the license for seven years.
Yinka Ayefele is currently in London where he performed at the wedding reception of Dolapo and Oluwaseun at the Asian community center Plumstead last night.
