A young Haitian Mackenson Saintloth's post which he shared on Facebook on May 15:
"Praise to Jesus Christ! Before he couldn't walk and stand straight but now his all well. Compassion is a weapon! Three months after: You all remember this young man, he lived under a car. He urinated and had bowel movements under that car and slept there.
I bathed him, clothed him, found him a place to live, pay someone to look after him, took him to the doctors. He couldn't walk, now he walks. All praises to the Lord. We never found his family, but God pit him into our lives forever. Now we bought him clothes for church. Jesus broke the casket. People who see him today are surprised because they though he would be dead already. This is due to the fact that he was living under a car toileting on himself, having the hot sun beating on him. When someone remembered him, they would give him a small left over or their food. When I found him, he didn't bathe for a year. His odor was extremely strong even if you were far from him. I bathed him and removed dirt from his body. I could have been in this same situation. Helping someone is helping yourself I pray those pictures inspired you to do the same. Have a great day! It's a great day because you are alive. Compassion is a weapon!
