According to him, he had initially unlocked a phone for a customer without demanding for its receipt of purchase and that eventually led to his arrest.
The Police have warned warned that nobody should buy any used mobile phone without proper identification processes no matter how cheap it may be
Below is what he wrote on Twitter:
"I was arrest today at My workshop because I help a customer to unlock his phone...@segalink ...d customer brought the phone to my shop last year ending to unlock, I charge him 10k to fix the phone and he payed... @segalink today police came back with guy with handcuff that the phone was stolen and I was detain in the cell for 8hours before Dey grant my bail"
"my offense was why did I unlock the phone without the customer providing d receipt of the phone..my question is this, must I ask every customer to bring there receipt before I can fix their phone...please sir I need your help on this matter...you are the only I can run to. They collected 10k from me before Dey could release me today @PoliceNG"
