I Squatted With MI And Slept On The Carpet For A Year - Ice Prince

Rising hip-hop artiste, Panshak Zamani, popularly known as Ice Prince has said that his vision for the music industry is to see it grow and get to the point where his name will be mentioned all over the world.
He said his vision was to make African music attractive to international artistes where they will not be able to resist it.
In a chat with Showtime, Ice Prince noted that the industry is fast growing with the likes of D’banj whose music is being played on London radio. He said that as artistes, their primary duty is to create and produce quality music for their fans
According to him, the industry is sensitive and therefore, it is important that everybody strives to make a different by taking the dream to the next level in years to come.
On how he rose to the top, he said, “It was a long journey of hustle and bustle. A journey that took me out of Jos where I grew up to Lagos wasn’t a easy one. It was hard for me to settle down. I hustled, I had to sleep on the carpet for one year.
“At a point I stayed with Gini and squatted with MI. It was pretty rough but I thank God for what and who I am today. Those challenges I see as molecules that formed me.
“Every year is a blessing for me and to add another year makes me great. Although, I am feeling like I am getting older but I’m blessed because all my birthdays have been amazing.
“When I was a kid, my parents used to celebrate my birthday and now that I am mature my friends always do something special for me on my birthday. Last year, it was celebrated in Abuja with the likes of 2face and this year, we are celebrating it in Lagos, Abuja and Port-Harcourt”, he said.

How Ifeanyi Ubah Swindled Me of N21bn By Cosmas Maduka - Thisday Newspaper

For the past 38 years he has operated quietly behind the scenes, only visible in the press when absolutely necessary and in that space of time, he has built the Coscharis brand from an upstart with little or no capital into a colossus with tentacles spread across major auto luxury brands – Range Rover, BMW, Ford, Jaguar, etc. And with a reputation that opens doors and access to mega funds both locally and internationally, Cosmas Maduka was on a roll.
According to him, it took hard work, sweat and focused determination, in the process, riding through rough times with a dogged tenacity to get to the very pinnacle of business success. Maduka appeared to have all going for him until one bright summer morning when fate chanced a meeting between him and Mr. Ifeanyi Ubah, chief executive and founder of Capital Oil and Gas Industries Limited in an aircraft.  It is not unlikely that he will curse that day forever going by what he knows now. It set the stage for the biggest mistake of his business life. As is often the case with that element called trust, one party is left bruised and bloodied while the other party has run away with the loot.
Maduka is a wounded man right now having been dealt a fatal blow by his own kinsman, he calls his ‘kid brother’, Ifeanyi Ubah. It is a business deal between them that has gone sour and a usually careful Maduka is left holding the short end of the stick

“If I had a gun, I would shoot the b**ch.”........Nicki Minaj

Nicki Minaj shared her feelings about her feud with Mariah Carey on part two of “Nicki Minaj: My Truth” on the E! Network.

The “Super Bass” rapper addressed Carey’s claim to Barbara Walters that she blurted out, “If I had a gun, I would shoot the b**ch.”........
Nicki declared, “I really felt good when I left [the set] yesterday, and then I hear that Mariah went to Barbara Walters with some more fabrication that even the [American Idol] producers had told her were never said.”

Additionally, Nicki thought it was interesting that Walters never corroborated the story with her- “Am I not good enough for you to get my side [of the story]? Because I’m a little

black girl that raps? If I was J.Lo, you would have called J.Lo’s camp. Are we not good enough for you Barbara? You don’t f**kin’ know me.”

Minaj also clarified that she’s been completely misrepresented through the whole ordeal- “Why would I want to have a rift with someone that I’ve looked up to my whole life? Like I’ve loved her… and I even told her that. I’m happy that Mariah’s on the panel.”

Sorry boys, size DOES matter: Scientific journal

If you are a man who has been cursed with a less than generous handout in the pants department you might want to look away now.
New research by the Journal of Sexual Medicine has shown that contrary to popular (wishful?) thinking penis size does matter when it comes to pleasing a woman in bed.
The good news is that it only matters for some women and some types of orgasms.
The research, printed online in September, has found that women who have frequent vaginal orgasms are more likely than other women to say they climax more easily with men with larger penises.
Stuart Brody, a psychologist at the University of the West of Scotland who conducted the research asked a sample of 323 women about previous sexual encounters.

The Go Plate
The problem with most parties is that while mingling, you have a plate of food in one hand and your drink in the other, but how do you eat? Since evolution has not yet provided us a third arm, things like the Go Plate are necessary. Go Plate are the ultimate food & beverage party plates. Simply grab one of these plates, fill up with food and place it right over the top of your cup, can or bottle. Now you have the freedom to use your free hand to eat without sitting your drink down, walking off and abandoning it.

President orders the detention of his son

The president of Central African Republic is reported to have ordered the detention of his own son for refusing to pay a large hotel bill.
Police detained Francois Bozize's son for several days after he ran up a bill of up to 12,000 euros ($15,000) at a hotel in the capital, reports said.
The bills include the cost of the room at the five-star Ledger Plaza hotel in Bangui, as well as meals and services.
Kevin Bozize is reported to have been held since early last week.
Both the head of the hotel and the president's son were initially detained when Kevin refused to pay the bill, Agence France Presse (AFP) news agency says.
"Having been informed of the situation, his father summoned both of them and in front of the manager he [Kevin] confirmed that he stayed at the hotel and said he paid all the bills," an anonymous source told AFP.
"Both he and the manager were detained... but after the facts were verified, the manager was freed."
According to AFP, Mr Bozize's own son is one of several high-profile figures in the state who have amassed debts at the hotel.

Obasanjo Warns Jonathan: Revolution Is Coming!

Unless the government of Nigeria takes urgent steps to arrest the menace of youth unemployment and poverty, it is a certainty that Nigeria will see a revolution soon.
This dire prediction was made at the weekend by the country’s former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, in a speech at a West African regional conference on youth employment in Senegal, sponsored by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development and the African Development Bank.
The former president said that the rate of youth unemployment in 1999 when he assumed office was 72 per cent, but was reduced to 52 per cent [by his government] in 2004, only to rocket up again, to 71 per cent by 2011.
Obasanjo, who left office in 2007 after eight years, declared he fears for the future of Nigeria.
“I’m afraid, and you know I am a General. When a General says he is afraid, that means the danger ahead is real and potent,” he told the conference.
He said that the unemployment menace is responsible for the social crimes being perpetrated by various categories of youth, categorizing three of them as Area Boys, Yahoo Boys and Blackberry Boys.
Obasanjo, who is himself often accused of being behind some of Nigeria’s most severe problems, including the same unemployment predicament and foisting bad successors on the country, accused the current government of lacking “serious, concrete, realistic, short and long term solution” to youth unemployment.
He drew attention to doctorate degree holders who were recently found to have applied for jobs as drivers at the Dangote Group as an example of the problem, saying the patience of the youth will soon reach its limit.
Delving into the genesis of the crisis, he said that government officials in Nigeria talk of growth but not development, a phenomenon he said has led the rise in poverty levels.
He urged national leaders to create incentives that will encourage entrepreneurs to flourish, particularly in agriculture, a sector in which he called for special attention to agriculture as business as opposed to mere farming.
The former president, who has been largely successful in agriculture, although Nigerians say he took advantage of his position in government, called for easy access to land and micro credit, as well as a review of school curriculum for undergraduates to spend an additional year in school to learn entrepreneurship.
Obasanjo’s remarks are guaranteed to lead to harsh criticism in Nigeria because he single-handedly put into play the machinery that put President Jonathan, whom he is criticizing, in power.   In addition to Jonathan’s incompetence, the current government is also known to be very corrupt, an ailment Obasanjo studiously avoids talking about.

Photo:Woman Stops Rape By Cutting Off Man’s Penis, Takes It Into Police Station As Evidence

Monju Begum, a 40-year-old Bangladesh woman stopped an alleged rapist in his tracks when she reportedly cut off his penis and then took it to police as evidence.
According to police, Begam’s neighbor, Mozammel Haq Mazi, forced his way into her shanty and began sexually assaulting her.

Investigators say Begum stopped the attack by cutting off his penis. She then placed the evidence into a polythene bag and took it into police as proof that Mazi had attempted to rape her.
Begum, a married mother of three, told police that Mazi had been harassing her for the past six months. Mazi is reportedly also married and has five children.
“It is quite an unusual incident. As far as I am aware, this is the first time that a woman has brought a severed penis to the police station as evidence,” said police spokesperson Abul Khaer.
“We will arrest him once his condition gets better,” said Khaer.
Mazi denied the allegations telling investigators that the two were having an affair.
“Recently she suggested that both of us can go settle down in Dhaka,” said Mazi. “I refused and told her that I cannot leave my wife and children, so she took revenge on me.”
Doctors say the man’s penis will not be re-attached
