Police Arrest 25-Year Old Man Who Robbed ATM Users In Lagos Nigeria.
Gbenga Babatunde, a 25-year old armed robbery suspect has confessed to robbing ATM users in Lagos state.
He told operatives of the Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command how his gang robbed about 35 Automated Teller Machine users in Alaba Rago Market, Ojo area of Lagos, the police said.
Babatunde was arrested after his failure to rob a lady around 5:48 a.m. at an ATM point in Alaba Rago Market
Gbenga Babatunde, who was arrested by the operatives patrolling the area was caught with a ‘cut-to-size’ locally made short gun with two live cartridges.

It was yet another tragedy in the comemercial city of Lagos late on Saturday after car skids off the expressway and plunged into the Lagoon from the Mekwen Bridge, Bonny Camp, inward Marina area of the state as a pregnant woman, identified as Chinagorom Fustine, was killed in the car accident.
According to Punch Metro, before help could come the way of Fustine, she was said to have died, and the driver of the Kia Rio, identified as Felix Aniele, was said to have swum out to the river bank, where he was rescued.

The Nigerian Community in South Africa has confirmed attacks and looting of Nigerian-owned businesses in Pretoria West on Saturday.
.Ikechukwu Anyene, president, Nigeria Union, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on telephone from Pretoria, South Africa, that the attacks began at 4.00 a.m. He said the union had reported the incident to the Nigerian mission and South African police.
