Former Nollywood Actress Regina Askia Is Officially A U.S Citizen

Nollywood actress turned U.S based nurse, Regina Askia-Williams is officially a citizen of United States. 
According to her post on Facebook back in May, she disclosed that she had spent 15 years in America as a green card holder and never felt any type of pressure to change status until Trump was elected.


However, it was gathered that Regina delayed her citizenship status before now, all because she wanted to become a politician in Nigeria.

Hayden Cross, from Gloucester, was born a girl and was legally male when he paused transgender hormone treatment to conceive using a sperm donor he had met on Facebook. Last night his family confirmed he had given birth to a girl, Trinity-Leigh Louise Cross, on June 16, and said both were healthy and doing well. Overwhelmed by negative reactions to some observations on the floor of the Senate, the President of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki on Thursday night held a secret meeting with the Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.

Investigation conducted by our correspondent revealed that the Senate President’s meeting with the Acting President was based on “some developments that occurred in the Senate during the week, including the suspension of consideration of further nominations by the Executive in protest against the retention of the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission ( EFCC), Mr. Ibrahim Magu, and the consequent threats of impeachment by some Senators.

Ikorodu: Security Agents Arrest 87 Fresh Badoo Suspects, Declare 20 Others Wanted

The Rapid Response Squad (RRS) in collaboration with other security agencies have arrested 87 persons suspected to be members of the gang of ritual killers, Badoo, which has been terrorising residents of Ikorodu and other Lagos communities.
Twenty other suspects have also been declared wanted for cultism and kidnapping in the affected areas.

The Lagos State Police Command had last Saturday commenced a clampdown on criminals in Ikorodu and its environs, in collaboration with other security agencies and local vigilance groups.

Lagos Today! 40-ft Container Falls On Two Fully Loaded Commercial Buses In Ojota

A reoccuring tragedy has played out again in Lagos. A container fell off a truck and landed on two fully loaded commercial buses in Ojota area of the state.

Two people have been rescued, according to Lagos State Emergency Management Agency officials on ground  (LASEMA). But several other passengers remain trapped.

According to reports, the accident happened at about 4am Saturday.

University of Lagos Professor Flogs Student Publicly for Coming Late to Class (Photo)

Professor M.A Daramola of English Department, University of Lagos flogged student who came late to his class on their palm.

A student who was in the class filmed the odd incident and shared it on social media. Corporal punishment in higher institutions is anomalous in Nigeria as anywhere in the world.

Some primary and secondary schools have also banned administering such punishment to pupils by teachers under any guise.
