22-year-old Lisa Marie Garcia of Texas is facing charges after police said she created fake online accounts in an attempt to make it look like her ex-boyfriend was threatening her life.

Garcia is accused of falsifying social media profiles under the name of her former boyfriend, Brandon Berrott.

Idris concerned with public interest and the need to reposition the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) for more efficiency and effective service delivery to all has directed the immediate re-organisation of the SARS nationwide and instant investigation into all the allegations, complaints and infractions levelled against the personnel of the Special Anti Robbery Squad across the country by the IGP X-Squad of the Force,” the statement read in part.

The development came as the EU pledged a Marshall Plan for Africa of €44 billion at a summit dominated by outrage over slave auctions in Libya of migrants sold “like goats”.

The furore over illicit slave auctions, highlighted in a recent CNN report, was thrust to the top of the agenda among the 83 heads of state from the EU and Africa gathered in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, for a two-day summit.

An ash coloured Toyota Camry with Reg no KTU 765 DV was recovered from a suspect while on patrol along the Lagos/Ibadan expressway today, 4 December 2017. A motorist who was stopped by the FRSC team had reported a road traffic crash at Ramona Trailer park Ogere and the team quickly moved to the scene.

Robbers Arrested For Stealing 1.7Billion After Digging A Tunnel For Six Months Into The Bank (See Photos)

Police have arrested three suspects, a woman and two men, in connection with the eye-popping theft of Ksh. 50m. (Ugshs 1.7b) from Kenya Commercial Bank, Thika branch.

Robbers are said to have dug a hole under the bank which is directly opposite Thika Police Station from a nearby building and accessed the strong room where they made away with the money.

It is said the owners of the shop rented three stalls early this year and have covertly been digging the hole for six months.

They were stocking soil from the tunnel in one of the stalls and parking cartons of books on top to conceal their activity.
