Initially it was thought that a frosty relationship between Meghan and Kate was to blame for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's move from Kensington Palace. But the driving force behind the divide is actually friction between Harry and William, according to The Sun . The paper claims Harry has accused William of trying to 'wreck his marriage' after his older brother voiced concerns over Meghan. 

The Duke of Sussex is also said to be overly-protective about his wife because 'he couldn't do the same for Princess Diana'. A Palace insider told The Sun: 'It's my opinion that Harry feels he couldn't protect his mother, so he's going all out to protect his wife. This is his way of atoning. 'He will brook absolutely no criticism of Meghan — and he is so sensitive he often sees criticism or negativity where there isn’t any.'

Three Yahoo Boys Paraded By EFCC With Their Charms And Concoctions

Operatives of the IGP Intelligence Response Team, IRT, have handed over three suspected Advance Fee fraudsters to the Ibadan office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC for further investigation.

The suspects who are between 22 and 29 years of age include Ebenezer Adeniyi Oluwafemi, Kolade Samuel Sogo, and Olwagbenga Majeed Ejikunke. They were arrested Tuesday 4th, December 2018 in Ilesha, Osun State following series of intelligence gathered by the operatives.

Governorship Elections: Amosun, Okorocha’s Threat Worries APC

The All Progressives Congress is worried by the decision of some aggrieved members, including the Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibukunle Amosun, and his Imo State counterpart, Rochas Okorocha, to shun the APC governorship candidates in their states, The PUNCH has learnt.

Some members, who were aggrieved by the party’s primaries, had vowed to work against the APC candidates in their states.

Besides the two governors, some lawmakers, who could not secure the party’s tickets have also vowed to work against the party’s candidates, except the President.

The APC National Chairman, Mr. Adams Oshiomhole, had earlier on Wednesday said the party could win the governorship elections in Imo and Ogun without the support of Okorocha and Amosun.

His wife Keyvonne Connie had gone into early labour and began haemorrhaging inside their home in Littleton, Colorado. 

When they rushed to the hospital, doctors told Frederick he had to decide between saving his wife or daughter. 

Frederick chose what he thought his wife would want him to do. On the same day that he welcomed his baby girl into the world, he lost the love of his life.

A 49-year-old night guard in Ekiti State civil service, Mr. Abolarinwa Olaoye, on Tuesday night hanged himself within the state secretariat in Ado Ekiti, the state capital.
The body of the father of five, who was a night guard at the Ekiti State Scholarship Board, was found hanged with a clothing material to the railing of a building at the Ministry of Education, where he had reported to duty at about 6:00p.m. on Tuesday.

The development caused some uneasiness within the state secretariat, as civil servants were seen clustering near the scene and lamenting the horrible twist of event for the man they described as jovial and amiable while alive.

Davido: NYSC Confirms Violation; Here Are Service By-Laws Violated Including Engaging In Partisan Politics

The National Youth Service Corps says it has communicated with popular musician, David Adeleke aka Davido, over his activities during his service year.

According to PUNCH, The NYSC Director of Information, Adenike Adeyemi, however, did not say what punishment had been meted out to Davido who has broken several NYSC bye-laws.

The popular artiste violated many of the scheme’s regulations.

Recall that Davido’s enrolment for the NYSC had created a stir, as he became the cynosure of all eyes at the Iyana Ipaja, Lagos orientation camp where he had submitted himself for registration in August 2018.

NYSC Cancels Davido's One-Year Service Program

It appears that the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) has cancelled the compulsory one-year orientation exercise embarked on by David ‘Davido’ Adeleke.

The ‘Fall’ singer said the scheme cancelled his service in a comment on Instagram.

Reacting to a post made by Adesegun Adeosun, Nigerian music promoter better known as Smade who just finished his three-week NYSC orientation program, and got a letter of recommendation Davido wrote “Naso dem cancel my own”.

The 26-year-old singer, who graduated from Babcock University in 2015 after studying music, had registered for NYSC in 2018 Batch ‘B’ stream II corp members who were sworn in on August 30.

His dastard act was discovered on Tuesday December 4th and he was immediately arrested.

Residents alleged that Owabie always beat up the deceased, who lived with him.

A neighbour, who preferred anonymity, said the suspect was fond of beating up the deceased, adding that he challenged anyone who intervened.

Residents of Onitsha in Anambra state woke up this morning to the shocking sight of an elderly woman's corpse dumped at DMGS roundabout. According to eyewitnesses, items found on the woman's body included pigeons and coins. No part of her body was mutilated. Nigerians are truly making their mark across the world. Martha Osamor, a British-Nigerian woman, has become the first Nigerian to become a baroness in the United Kingdom. The woman is the first Nigerian to join the House of Lords.

Policeman Inhales Smoke, Hospitalised As Fire Razes Igbinedion’s House

The palatial residence of a lawmaker representing Ovia Constituency in the House of Representatives, Barr Omosede Igbinedion, was razed by fire, on Wednesday.

In his bid to rescue the situation, an Assistant Superintendent of Police serving under the Aideyan Division, who was said to have inhaled smoke, was rushed to the hospital.

The policeman was said to have climbed a ladder to use the fire extinguisher to stop the fire from spreading but was overwhelmed by the thick smoke.
