(PHOTOS) Caught: NY Teacher Stephanie Fletcher Had Affair With Teacher, Sex With 2 Students

Stephanie Fletcher has been charged with rape after allegedly having underage sex with two of her students – while also carrying on an affair with another teacher.   The 28-year-old is alleged to have sent the students, both aged 16, naked photos of herself and often performed oral sex on them when they met up in deserted classrooms. One of the teens told police that the biology teacher told him ‘we could do something’ every time he got a question right during private tutoring.


Both teens told investigators the sexual relationship began after the 28-year-old began texting them. She sent topless photos and naked photos before the relationships turned sexual. Fletcher, who was married in 2010, was also said to be involved with another teacher while carrying on the illegal affairs with two of her students at Walton High School in New York State.  According to police statements from the two teenagers Fletcher offered to help tutor them privately after school.
Most of the sexual contact took place outside of school, but there were occasions during study periods, class breaks and in the high school parking lot.
One alleged victim said he had sex with Fletcher in his sister’s house while the other told investigators he had sex with Fletcher on a sofa in his house, under the guise of tutoring, while everyone else was away. One of the victims told police the relationship began in December of 2010 – the same year she was married.  He said it lasted three to four months while the other student said his relationship began earlier this year in March or April and lasted until June.

The two students both told state police Fletcher threatened to commit suicide if they told anyone about the relationship.  One victim added in his statement to police that he felt like he was getting failing marks in another one of his classes due to a relationship Fletcher was having with a teacher at Walton High School.  He said the teacher knew he was having sex with his biology teacher and disapproved.
Fletcher has since quit her job at Walton High School.  Fletcher was charged with two counts of third-degree rape, one count of third-degree criminal sexual act and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.  She was released on her own recognizance when she was arraigned before Sidney Town Justice Steven Rose. Fletcher pleaded not guilty to all charges and is due back in court next week.
