Information is already coming from the Council of State Meeting: Jonathan Launches National Security Documents - INEC Chairman, Professor Attahiru Jega, has been sighted on the premises of the State House.

The Nigerian President, Dr Goodluck Jonathan, has launched Nigeria’s national security documents, aimed at tackling the various security challenges facing the country, especially terrorism.
The launch of the documents formed part of the agenda of the Council of State Meeting which is holding at the Presidential Villa, in the nation’s federal capital, Abuja.
In attendance are Nigeria’s past heads of state, including the APC presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari.

Former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, who was expected to attend is, however, absent.
Also present are 28 governors of PDP and APC governed states as well as the deputy governors of Oyo, Borno and Abia states. The acting Governor of Taraba is also in attendance.
The security chiefs, led by the Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshall Alex Badeh, are also present as well as former Chief Justices, Dahiru Mustapha and Alpha Belgore.
The council is expected to advise on whether or not it would be feasible to hold elections on February 14 and INEC Chairman, Professor Attahiru Jega, who has been sighted on the premises of the State House is expected to brief council members.
