WARNING GRAPHIC VIDEO Pregnant Kristin Dickerson of Rosenberg, Texas,
was nearly two weeks overdue when her water broke in the early hours of
June 28. Husband Troy was rushing his wife to the Texas Medical Center,
but still decided to film the happy event with his GoPro camera. When
they finally arrived at the hospital Kristin stepped out of their
vehicle but was then unable to move and delivered their baby there and
then. A boy, named Truett, was born at 2:05 a.m. just as a team of
nearly 10 nurses rushed to assist them.
A pregnant
woman from Texas was in such an advanced stage of labor as her husband
rushed her to hospital that she was forced to give birth standing up
outside their vehicle at the hospital’s entrance.

husband Troy was rushing his wife to the Texas Medical Center, he
decided to film the happy event by attaching his GoPro camera to his
head.

As Troy yells for help and goes to grab bags
from the car, Kristin steps out of the vehicle but then finds herself
unable to move

The
10 minute video starts with the couple driving along the freeway. In
between screams of pain, Kirstin tells her husband she doesn’t think she
can make it to the hospital and to stop at a closer facility.
‘I can’t make it! I can’t make it,’ said Kristin between screams, ‘We need to stop.’
Troy
does his best to comfort his wife as they near the hospital and when
they finally pull up in front of the entrance, she tells him she can
feel the baby’s head.
As
Troy yells for help and goes to grab bags from the car, Kristin steps
out of the vehicle but then finds herself unable to move.
Kristin ended up giving birth right outside the
car, standing next to the curb. 'I said, "On the next contraction,
push." And on the next contraction, she pushed and he came flying out,'
said Troy
'I'm thrilled to have the footage,' said Kristin, who is a childbirth educator at the Texas Medical Center
‘She had gotten out of the car and she
had just froze, like stood there. And me and the valet guy were like,
“Sit down! Sit down in the wheelchair!'" Troy told Click2Houston.
Kristin ended up giving birth right outside the car, standing next to the curb.
'I said, "On the next contraction, push." And on the next contraction, she pushed and he came flying out,’ said Troy.
Kristin can be heard screaming at her husband to catch the baby as she delivers him into the world.

According to Kristin, her husband Troy filmed
the births of their first two children, Turner, 4 and Tillman, 2, and
loves to use his GoPro while biking and surfing
'I’m thrilled to have the footage,' Kristin, who is a childbirth educator at the hospital, told ABC News.
‘I’m
more hesitant to send it to people, because it’s such an intimate
moment for us, but as a birth educator, it’s really cool to let people
see that our bodies know what to do.’
According
to Kristin, her husband filmed the births of their first two children,
Turner, 4 and Tillman, 2, and loves to use his GoPro while biking and
surfing so it was second nature when he strapped the camera to capture
their special moment.
