Hooped: Chelsea's new home shirt for 2014/15 will feature a hooped design on the front but a plain reverse
Hoops on a Chelsea kit?!
The horror! Blues fans can relax though as they won't be walking out
next season looking like some sort of copycats to west London
neighbours, QPR
Instead
Jose Mourinho's team will have two shades of blue dashed across their
home strip. It was a feature seen on the Chelsea kit which won the
Champions League in 2012, so it's a good omen at the very least.
And
as a standalone shirt, it's still not a bad design. Place it with the
plain blue shorts though and it looks rather mismatched.

For all to see: Chelsea's new home strip also features blue shorts with white socks

AWAY KIT
For many Chelsea fans who only started supporting the club in the 21st century, the sight of an all-yellow away kit will certainly be an eye opener.
The
west London side have only worn yellow twice since Roman Abramovich
took over the club in 2003, the first being a bold luminous approach in
2007/08, the second a more traditional design which won the FA Cup in
2009.
But
long time Blues fans will welcome back a familiar kit colour from
yesteryear which has constantly featured throughout the club's history.
There isn't too much in the way of detail but the royal blue trim
matches perfectly on a very smart looking kit which is sure to go down
well with fans - old and new.
Away kit verdict: 9/10
