The Mummy Baby: 6500 Years old Peruvian Child Naturally Mummified In The Hot, Desert Environment.

This Peruvian child mummy, known as the "Detmold Child," has been radiocarbon dated to 4504-4457 B.C. more than 3,000 years before the birth of King Tut. The child, which was about 10 months old when it died, naturally mummified in the hot, arid desert environment.

More than 6,500 years ago in Peru, this tiny baby's brief battle for life finally came to an end. The child, no more than 10 months old, had a serious heart defect and suffered from growth problems.

After contracting pneumonia and then suffering circulation failure the sick child died and was wrapped in linen and buried with an amulet hung around its neck.

But while some give-up on the problematic footwear, others love wearing them so much they will appeal to surgical procedures such as shortening toes, receiving foot injections and even completely cutting off pinky toes in order to make walking in them bearable. “Unless you’ve been there, and you can’t find shoes, and you’re in pain, don’t judge,” Susan Deming, a patient who recently had one of her toes shortened, told Fox News. “I was having calluses, and just, all sorts of problems with my left foot. And there finally was a solution. There’s never been a solution before.” Some of Susan’s toes were longer than the others, making her left foot an entire size longer than her right foot, so she cut off about a centimeter off her second toe. “I’ve never felt this good about something I’ve done,” she said. “If it’s vain, it’s vain.”

Sam Alexander was born a relatively average man. The Governor of Kogi State, Captain Idris Wada was involved in ghastly motor accident some minutes ago around Jingbe, just before Salem University (along Lokoja-Ajaokuta road) while returning from Ayingba.
The governor’s ADC and driver are feared dead while Captain Wada is being attended to for first aid treatment at the State Specialist Hospital.
The active governor left Lokoja this morning to attend a function at Ayingba and had the unfortunate accident on his way back to Lokoja.

American grandmother Linda Wolfe has become "the most married woman in the world" after walking down the aisle 23 times, and is now "on the lookout for number 24".
Mrs Wolfe, 68, is included in the Guinness Book of World Records for the dubious honour of being wed more times than anyone else alive.

For those who know hip hop star D’banj(Dapo Oyebanjo), they will confirm it that he is indeed a guy who can get any woman he wants any day, anytime.
Despite the fact that he is well-endowed in his pocket, the multiple award winning musician is a very handsome dude with a smooth and reserved way of life.

Reports reaching our newsdesk from Abeokuta, the country home of former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, indicate that mansion of the ex-leader has been engulfed by an inferno.
It is unclear at the time of filling this report, if OBJ was present at estate when the fire broke out.
We gathered that his personal bedroom was seriously damaged by the raging inferno.
Sources said the fire service men, just arrived at the premises and were trying to extinguish fire.
The estate also includes a church built by Obasanjo, after he left office as the president in 2007.

For those unable to trek, they have a cable car that is considered the longest cable ride in the world- A distance of 7455m. Also on the top is a 500 year old Temple.

Lake Retba or Lac Rose lies north of the Cap Vert peninsula of Senegal, north east of Dakar. Depending on the time of day, the lake changes colour from a light purple to a deep scarlet pink. The unusual colouring of the water is caused by harmless halophilic bacteria that thrive in the lake’s high-salinity environment. The color is particularly visible during the dry season.

Lagos Explosion Was Caused By ‘Knockouts’ - NEMA

The National Emegency Management Agency (NEMA), has confirmed this morning’s powerful explosion that rocked two buildings on Lagos Island, a densely populated part of Nigeria’s commercial hub, Lagos State.
AP’s correspondent, Jon Gambrell, broke the story earlier this morning.
Mr. Yushau Shuaib, NEMA Head of Media and Publicity, in a statement to DailyPost, said the agency “has mobilized response agencies and volunteers to an explosion in a building suspected to be loaded with ‘knockouts’ in Jankara area of Lagos”
He added that “Search and Rescue officers of NEMA, are having a hectic time to reach the place due to traffic and crowds.”
A look at the pictures of the shattered building makes it astonishing, the kind of ‘knockouts’ that are so powerful, to cause such destruction.
NEMA concluded by saying it was on top of the situation.

The family cannot afford to provide any form of treatment for Maria, whose condition could have been reversed if treated at birth. For now, she continues to live like a baby, unable to tend to her own needs, and unable, even to speak. The home in which Maria lives, however poor, does not seem short of love. Her step-mother, Dora, has taken care of the woman-child since the day she was married. But two years after his graduation, the 35-year-old doctor abandoned his stethoscope and chose life on the fast lane by joining pipeline vandalism cartel.

Odiba, who was recently arrested in Kogi State by the Police Special Task Force on Anti-Pipeline Vandalism, Force Headquarters, said he was attracted to the illegal business because it was lucrative.
