Ikorodu: Security Agents Arrest 87 Fresh Badoo Suspects, Declare 20 Others Wanted

The Rapid Response Squad (RRS) in collaboration with other security agencies have arrested 87 persons suspected to be members of the gang of ritual killers, Badoo, which has been terrorising residents of Ikorodu and other Lagos communities.
Twenty other suspects have also been declared wanted for cultism and kidnapping in the affected areas.

The Lagos State Police Command had last Saturday commenced a clampdown on criminals in Ikorodu and its environs, in collaboration with other security agencies and local vigilance groups.

Lagos Today! 40-ft Container Falls On Two Fully Loaded Commercial Buses In Ojota

A reoccuring tragedy has played out again in Lagos. A container fell off a truck and landed on two fully loaded commercial buses in Ojota area of the state.

Two people have been rescued, according to Lagos State Emergency Management Agency officials on ground  (LASEMA). But several other passengers remain trapped.

According to reports, the accident happened at about 4am Saturday.

Professor M.A Daramola of English Department, University of Lagos flogged student who came late to his class on their palm.

A student who was in the class filmed the odd incident and shared it on social media. Corporal punishment in higher institutions is anomalous in Nigeria as anywhere in the world.

Some primary and secondary schools have also banned administering such punishment to pupils by teachers under any guise.

MC Reportedly Killed In Ikorudu After He Was Mistaken For Badoo Member

 According to reports an MC,Chinedu Paul aka Think 2ice,  was burnt to death by residents of Ikorodu, after he was mistakenas a member of dreaded cult gang, Badoo. 

According to his friends on Facebook, he was killed hours after he attended TV host I.K Osakioduwa 's talk show on July Ist.

Residents of Ikorodu have been killing people suspected to be past of the killer gang , and sadly most innocent people will het caught up.

Angry residents of Ikorodu, Lagos State, went berserk in the early hours of Sunday, lynching three suspected members of the notorious ritual cult, Badoo, in the Odogunyan area.

This is just as the police said over 100 persons suspected to be members of the cult had been arrested during raids on Bayeku, Ipakodo, Ibeshe and Odongunyan, among other communities in Ikorodu.

More facts have emerged about Dr Michael Henry Bello, the gunman who shot seven people at the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Centre, New York on Friday, and identified as a Nigerian.

Dr Bola Omotosho, the Community Board Chair for The Bronx 5, New York, said that Bello hailed from Auchi, Edo State.

Bello, 45, shot dead a woman on the 17th floor and injured six others on the 16th floor, before allegedly killing himself, the New York Police Department Commissioner James O’Neil, said.

Handkerchief With Victims' Blood Sold For N500,000 To Prominent Nigerians And Herbalists - Suspected Badoo Members Confess

No fewer than 100 people suspected to be members of the dreaded Badoo cult were arrested over the weekend during a raid on their hideout by operatives of the Rapid Response Squad, RRS, of Lagos State Police Command, Anti-Robbery operatives, members of the Oodua Peoples Congress, OPC, and members of vigilante groups in Ikorodu.

Police sources disclosed yesterday that one of the Badoo suspects said that each ritual handkerchief used to wipe blood from the victim's skull after it's been broken was sold for N500,000.

Oil and grinding stone (popular instruments of the badoo gang) and charms were also found in their vehicle.
