Ladoja’s mother died on Wednesday night at the former governor’s house in Bodija area of Ibadan.

While praying for the deceased, Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheik Aruna, said having lived a good life for 94 years and survived by successful children, her life should be celebrated.

“When you look at someone like Ladoja being her son and others as well, you can only celebrate her passage. She lived a good life worthy of emulation. In everything we do, we must remember that we will one day return to God,” he said.

Women who have several sexual partners before getting married have less happy marriages - but men do no harm by playing the field,a study has found.

According to  new research by the National Marriage Project, more than half of married women who had only ever slept with their future husband felt highly satisfied in their marriage.

But that percentage dropped to 42 per cent once the woman had had pre-marital sex with at least two partners. It dropped to 22 per cent for those with ten or more partners.

But, for men, the number of partners a man they appeared to have no bearing on how satisfied they felt within a marriage.

Tax discs are set to be abolished in less than six weeks’ time, but half of all UK drivers are completely oblivious to the changes, according to a new study.

From October 1 the traditional tax disc will vanish, after 93 years on our windscreens.

Car owners still need to have paid vehicle tax to drive or keep a vehicle on the road: now police cameras will automatically check a car’s number plate to establish if this has been paid.

But of those who are aware of the changes, as many as 50 per cent do not know the exact date, six per cent think it’s next year and 32 per cent will not even try to find out what the changes are, according to the survey from comparison website money.co.uk.

Almost a third of those polled said they will await instructions from the Driving Vehicle and Licensing Agency, although the comparison website claims the DVLA has yet to start adding warnings to tax renewal reminders.

The website for a Manhattan lingerie boutique called Native Intimates has a photograph of a well-endowed woman pushing her breasts together. So, it’s odd that an employee of the shop is claiming she was fired for being “too hot.”

But that’s exactly what Lauren Odes is alleging.

“When I was first told that I was ‘too hot’ and that my breasts were too large I was shocked,” said Odes in a statement released Tuesday. Her sexy appearance, she said, got her a pink slip from an employer who sells intimate apparel much sexier than your basic slips.
