Shina Peller Reconciles Dammy Krane and Wizkid After Their Quilox Fight [Photos]

The above picture of Wizkid, Dammy Krane and Shina Pellar (owner of the infamous Quilox nightclub) was taken shortly after Wiz broke a bottle on Dammy’s head.

The image was posted last night by 2face Idibia who shared the photo to show that the beef between the two artistes had been squashed, giving credibility to the news that the pair had indeed reconciled after their fight a few days ago.

Gunman: Shaden Cadette

A killer who shot a man twice in the back for no apparent motive laughed as he was jailed for life.

Gunman Shaden Cadette, 23, smiled and waved to his family at the Old Bailey as he was convicted of murdering Ogarra Dixon, 24, and sentenced to at least 27 years in prison.

He shot Mr Dixon moments after they met on the streets of Brixton.

Prosecutor Timothy Cray, QC, said the motive was unknown as Cadette claimed he was not the gunman and had pleaded not guilty.

Burkina Faso hotel attacked by Al Qaeda gunmen who kill 27 people

A 15-hour terror attack by four jihadists at a luxury hotel in Burkina Faso came to an end this morning after security forces stormed the building and rescued 126 of the hostages. 27 people were killed in the terror attack at the Splendid hotel in Ouagadougou before Burkinabe special forces, assisted by 30 French special forces, eliminated three of the gunmen inside the hotel. 33 of the 126 survivors were wounded during the attack, the Burkinabe Interior Ministry confirmed. A fourth jihadi was later killed after retreating to a second hotel. The attacks were carried out by four terrorists, including two female jihadis, and was claimed by the al-Qaeda affiliated al-Mourabitoun.

Britain got a dumping of the white stuff overnight and forecasters revealed up to three more inches could fall from western Scotland to London tonight in a 100-mile wide swathe that will see temperatures plunge to as low as -10C.

Al Jazeera America to Shut Down Cable News Channel in April

Cable news channel Al Jazeera America, which debuted in 2013 to great fanfare when it promised to cover American news soberly and seriously, is shutting down at the end of April. The move was announced at a company wide meeting on Wednesday.

In a memo to the staff, Al Jazeera America’s chief executive, Al Anstey, said the “decision by Al Jazeera America’s board is driven by the fact that our business model is simply not sustainable in light of the economic challenges in the U.S. media marketplace.”

A Sunshine Coast woman was bitten and "handcuffed" by her pet python at 3am, prompting an unusual over-the-phone rescue bid by a local snake catcher and her housemate.

Farmer Uses His Bare Hands To Squeeze Two Of His Animals From The Stomach Of A Live PYTHON [Photos+Video]

Astonishing video footage has been captured by stunned onlookers showing the unbelievable moment a villager presses the bloated stomach of a 6-feet long python to release two goats.

The unknown man holds the giant snake and starts squeezing it frenziedly as it painfully throws out two dead goats - a mother and its baby.

The man can even be seen holding the python’s mouth and pulls out the head of the baby goat from it.

Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, on Thursday revealed that the Federal Government will beam its searchlight on the oil sector after the ongoing arms deal probe.

The Naira appreciated yesterday to N302 per dollar in the parallel market, thus halting three days of sharp depreciation even as the price of Nigeria’s reference crude oil grade, Bonny Light, slid below the $30 per barrel mark, dropping to $29.47 per barrel.
Meanwhile, following the increasing depreciation of the Naira, the Senate, yesterday, summoned the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Governor, Godwin Emefiele, to appear before it next week.

From N305 per dollar, Wednesday, the parallel market exchange rate dropped to N302 per dollar at the close of business yesterday, indicating N3 appreciation.
President, Association of Bureaux De Change Operators of Nigeria, ABCON, Alhaji Aminu Gwadabe, said that the appreciation was occasioned by drop in demand for foreign exchange and indications that CBN might review its decision to stop dollar sales to bureaux de change, BDCs.

The controversy over whether or not the hard copy of the 2016 budget proposal is missing has been cleared.

Senate President, Abubakar Bukola Saraki, Wednesday confirmed that the upper chamber has empanelled a high powered Senate search team to fish out the missing fiscal document.
