Now, a new report suggests that Jay Z is jealous of Beyoncé’s statuesque bodyguard, Julius De Boer. Not much is known about him, but the Dutch native has been working with the 31-year-old singer since 2009, protecting her at various events and during her day-to-day workout regime. He was even on the elevator when Solange went after her brother-in-law. "Jay definitely thinks that there was and may still be something romantic going on between Bey and Julius," He wanted to fire Julius last February, but Beyoncé said, 'Julius isn't going anywhere."- a source said.

Former Lagos State Governor and a national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Bola Tinubu may have reviewed his career progression and resolved to go for the nation’s top job, the presidency.

Tinubu, believed to be initially interested in the nation’s vice presidency is said to have concluded plans to announce his bid for the presidency immediately after the party’s national convention slated to hold between June 13 and 14 in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

Gunmen suspected to be armed robbers, on Friday afternoon, shot dead the driver of the wife of former governor of Oyo State, Chief (Mrs) Kemi Alao-Akala, Alhaji Aladi Ajikobi, around Bodija GRA, Ibadan.

Ajikobi was shot by suspected armed robbers while returning from the bank where he had gone to cash some unspecified amount of money. Ajikobi was said to have been shot around the Bodija area of Ibadan.

A media assistant to the former governor, Ademola Adeniyi, who confirmed the incident, however, denied any assassination attempt regarding the incident.

The Northern States Governors Forum (NSGF) on Friday described the killing of Emir of Gwoza, Alhaji Idrisa Timta, as irresponsible, callous and a declaration of war on the traditional institution.

It also expressed shock and disbelief at the assassination attempt on the lives of Emir of Uba, Alhaji Ismaila Mamza and Emir of Askira, Alhaji Mai Abdullahi Ibn Muhammadu Askirama by gunmen believed to be members of the Boko Haram sect.

Child draws on dad's passport, dad gets stuck in South Korea

A four-year-old boy showed his talents as a budding artist in this nice drawing he did… all over his dad’s passport.

The child got busy during a recent family trip to South Korea, where he took to the back page of his dad’s Chinese passport with a black pen and drew some really nice pictures of people, animals, and – obviously – added a bit more hair to his dad’s face. Classic.

The only problem is that now his dad is stuck in South Korea because of his unrecognisable documentation, and authorities have warned it is likely he won’t be able to travel home with his son, and the rest of his party

Chief Obasanjo had arrived at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ibonwon about 10:35a.m. along with Senator Andy Uba, who both waited for the arrival of the Mr. President for the programme to commence.

The extremist Boko Haram sect has kidnapped two first class traditional rulers in Borno state – the Emir of Uba, Ismaila Mamza and the Emir of Gwoza, Idrisa Timta, security officials aware of the incidence have told PREMIUM TIMES.
The two emirs were seized by gun-wielding insurgents at 10a.m Friday near Shaffa while they were travelling to Gombe to attend the funeral of the Emir of Gombe, Shehu Abubakar, who died on Tuesday evening at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London, where he was undergoing treatment for cancer.
The two abducted emirs were elevated to First Class traditional ruler status only in January.
The Borno state government is yet to issue an official statement on the abduction.
The abduction came 46 days after the Boko Haram sect whisked away over 250 schoolgirls from their dormitories in Chibok.
Over 200 of the girls are yet to be freed.

Tragedy struck on Tuesday afternoon at the Abuja home of former Police Affairs Minister Ibrahim Yakubu Lame as his two children suffocated to death in a locked car. Two-year-old Farida, who was Dr. Lame’s daughter, and her 1-year-old cousin Isah Abubakar Tahir died after being trapped for over an hour playing in one of the cars parked in the house.
The grieving fathers of the children, Dr. Lame and Abubakar Isah Tahir narrated to Daily Trust what happened. Farida’s father, who discovered the bodies, said it happened around 1.30 pm on Tuesday.

Eyewitnesses say a Daf truck, with number plate, JJJ 59 XA, driven by one Justice Oseghai, rammed into Ladoja’s Golf Saloon car on the bridge after losing control at top speed. Adebola Ladoja emerged from the wreckage in a pool of his own blood and lifeless.
Lagos State Police spokesperson, Ngozi Braide, said the errant truck driver has been arrested.
She said, “At about 3.30pm on the Eko Bridge, Lagos Island, a Daf truck with number plate, JJJ 59 XA, driven by one Justice Oseghai, ran into a Volkswagen Golf saloon car, marked, AKD 107 CJ, driven by one Adebola Ladoja, the son of a former governor of Oyo State, Senator Rasheed Ladoja.
“The victim died on the spot. The corpse has been removed to the Lagos Island General Hospital mortuary for autopsy while the truck driver has been arrested.”

Nearly 100 people including a former COP and girl, 15, arrested in sex-slave sting

A four-day prostitution sting in Florida has led to the arrests of nearly 100 people, among them a former Orlando police officer.

The 98 arrests on charges ranging from offering to commit lewd acts to aiding and abetting prostitution, child abuse and drug possession, took place over the Memorial Day weekend in Polk County.

According to investigators, former Orlando police officer Michael Johnson, 44, was netted in the sting.

Johnson, who served on the force between 1994 and 1996, is accused of trying to recruit a female undercover officer as a prostitute.

The former cop allegedly offered to act as the woman's pimp in exchange for 25 per cent of the profits.

He then offered the would-be prostitute a better deal if she agreed to have sex with him, according to sheriff's officials.

A Boko Haram leader, Hassan Ali, who was reportedly arrested by the local vigilante in Maiduguri three weeks ago, has confessed that he got “married” to two of the abducted Chibok schoolgirls in Sambisa forest.
