Beyonce’s Mother Has Written The Sweetest Open Letter to Her Daughters

Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles Lawson has written an open letter to her girls, and it’s one of the sweetest tributes ever.

The designer gushes about her daughters Beyonce and Solange as well as niece Angela Beyince and surrogate daughter Kelly Rowland (Bey’s Destiny’s Child bandmate) in the Mother’s Day message (the US celebrates Mother’s Day on Sunday May 10).

Tina, who recently married actor Richard Lawson, spoke of how blessed she felt to have all four women in her life.

‘I gave birth to two of you, but I have four incredible daughters,’ she writes in the note, which appears in Time magazine’s ‘Letter’s from mum’ section.

9-Year-Old Immigrant Boy Smuggled Across Spanish Border In a Suitcase

Pictures have emerged from Spain showing the moment immigration officials discovered an eight-year-old boy hidden in a suitcase.

He was stopped trying to get into Cueta, Spain, where his a woman, 19, was spotted acting suspiciously.

Fortunately the boy, who said his name was Abou, appeared to be unharmed.

A spokesman for the Spanish Civil Guard said: ‘This could have had a tragic end.’

UK Repatriates Three Prison Inmates to Nigeria

The United Kingdom has repatriated three Nigerians in UK prisons under the prisoners exchange agreement signed by the two countries.

The convicts who were brought into the country earlier this year, have been remanded in an undisclosed prison in the country.

Minister of Interior, Abba Moro, who said this while responding to questions from journalists in Abuja on Thursday, stated that more Nigerians in the UK prisons would still be transferred to local prisons in Nigeria before the end of the year.

Former Inmate Sues After 2 Jailers Used Him for Sex

A registered sex offender has filed a sexual harassment lawsuit after he had sex with 2 Oregon jailers while confined at the Washington County jail.

Jeng Li Roy Delgado-Galban, 25, apparently had consensual sex with former jail service technicians Jill Curry, 38, and Brett Robinson, 32. The 2 women were fired from their jobs and arrested for sexual misconduct while on duty.

Both women are accused of releasing Delgado-Galban from his cell on separate occasions for the purpose of engaging in unlawful sex. The women say Delgado-Galban used his wily charms to “manipulate” and pursue them.

Deep inside the forest of Italy lies loads of sex workers who come from Nigeria. According to statistics, there are currently 10,000 to 20,000 Nigerian sex workers in Italy.

Nigerian women are being trafficked to Italy hoping for a better life – but often end up working the streets as prostitutes.

Their plight has been highlighted by Paris-based photographer Elena Perlino, originally from Italy, who began to notice the presence of young African women working on the streets during her commutes from Turin.

She said: 'I decided to start from this surreal vision to tell a story. I have been working on the topic for several years, focusing mainly on the Italian connection.'
