There is division within the ranks of the militant group, Niger Delta Avengers (NDA), it has emerged.

A breakaway faction, which revealed itself as the Reformed Niger Delta Avengers (RNDA), has released a statement signed by one Cynthia White, promising to cooperate with the government.

The faction said it decided to split from the NDA following appeal by former President Goodluck Jonathan and its conviction that the peace initiative of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) is genuine.

EFCC Arrests 3 FAAN Staff For N100m Fraud Using 8 Accounts

The EFCC, on August 2, 2016 arrested a level six officer of the Accounts Department of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, Christy Olabode, for an alleged fraud to the tune of N100 million. Also arrested was her younger brother, Abdul-Shehu Obaze, a staff at the Commercial Department of FAAN in Ilorin, Kwara State, and Dominic Ojo, an IT officer at FAAN Headquarters, Lagos. Her arrest followed an anonymous petition, which indicated that she allegedly diverted the said sum, by inserting names of non-FAAN staff into its payroll. She allegedly conspired with Obaze, to perpetrate the fraud.

And Guyer's son Shawn, who is now 24 (pictured right with Guyer), had leukemia when he was 2 years old. He recovered before contracting an unrelated bacterial infection that left him a quadruple amputee - and Guyer as his caretaker. It has been hard for Guyer to let her children take care of her, after year of caring for others, Tiffany said. Doctors have said she has two to three weeks left to live.
