In yet another case of child marriage, the police in Lagos have arrested a 37-year-old man, Michael Ugwu, for taking a 12-year-old orphan, identified simply as Nneka (not real name) as a wife. She was given out in marriage by her grandfather, identified as Abada, a native doctor in Enugu State.

The girl and Ugwu, who claims to work as a Police SPY official at a federal ministry in Lagos, both hail from Aji in Enugu Ezike town, Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of Enugu State.

Face of the KILLER husband and his late wife #SAD

A 49-year-old man named, Jafaru Sougie, pictured above, allegedly killed his wife of 26 years yesterday at Araromi Street in Oshodi area of Lagos State.

Jafaru reportedly slit his wife’s throat with a knife around 2am but she was discovered dead at 4am by one of their children named Richmond and his aunt who raised the alarm.

The suspect poisoned himself thereafter and was vomiting in the bathroom when Richmond woke up.

So many conflicting stories surrounding this SAD accident involving Peace Mass Transport bus and a truck.. Here's the latest on the incident, this time it is according to hospital sources that handled the accident. Out of the 15 passengers in that bus, only two people survived - One of the survivors is Mrs. Chidinma Eze, a 32-year-old widow and businesswoman from Ubakala in Abia State. She is based in Port Harcourt. The other survivor is a 33-year-old dealer in cosmetics, based in Aba and now, they've both shared the gory details about the accident.

Doctor Shot By The Husband Of A Woman Whose Childbirth He Oversaw, Because He Saw Her Nakedness

Saudi authorities have arrested a man for shooting Muhannad Al Zabn who had helped his wife’s delivery, after arguing that a female doctor should have overseen the birth. He was upset that Muhannad would have seen his wife naked.
The shooting occurred one month after the delivery of the baby in April at the King Fahad Medical City in Riyadh. The father went to the hospital to ‘thank’ the doctor for helping his wife during the delivery.

On Wednesday, Precious Longwe Liteebele, a 30-year-old mother-of-two, alleged pumped 5 shots into Akakanda Lubinda Liteebele, 30, because he had a child with another woman. The couple was working for a bank.
Precious has been arrested and charged with murder. She allegedly used a pistol and Akakanda sustained five bullet wounds: on the chest, left rib side, right rib side, lower back and on the right arm.

A middle- aged trader at Alaba International Market, Ojo, Lagos, simply identified as Joseph, a.k.a Pastor is in Police net for allegedly raping his neighbour’s seven-year-old granddaughter (names withheld) at Mechanic Bus Stop, Ojo, Lagos.

It was learned that the victim’s mother, Mrs Nene Oguchint, alongside her three children visited her sick father who lives in the same compound with the suspect at Number 19, Adeyanju (Civilian Barracks) three weeks ago.

The victim was allegedly raped twice during this period by Joseph who is popularly called Pastor in the vicinity. Crime Alert gathered that the bubble burst after a teenager in the compound confided in the victim’s mother, Nene Oguchint, that Pastor had earlier defiled his 12-year-old brother, Collins.

Shocked at the disclosure, the victim’s mother made further enquiries only to discover that her visiting daughter had fallen victim of the notorious serial rapist. The victim (names with held) told her bewildered mother that the first time pastor did it was the day she, together with her younger ones, went inside the Pastor’s room.

“When we entered, he told my little sister Amaka to take my brother, Victor outside. [b]When they went outside, Uncle asked me to sit on his laps, removed my pants and his trouser and started putting his private part inside my bum-bum. Later, white substance began to come out from it. After he finished, he gave her N10,00. The second time was in the afternoon; I was in the passage alone, so Uncle Joseph started calling me, in a low voice, to come in. I thought he wanted me to run some errand for him. So, I went inside his room and he did the same thing to me. After he finished, he gave me two sliced bread.

Tragedy struck on Fagbeyiro Street in the Alakuko area of Lagos State after a high-tension wire fell on a 14-year-old girl, Deborah Faleke, who was electrocuted.

UK, Australia Jointly Deport 40 Nigerians - Thisday

The Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS)has confirmed that the United Kingdom and Australia have jointly deported 40 Nigerians, the second deportation in one month.

The deportees, arrived at the hajj camp area of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) at 7:25a.m. with chartered aircraft and Air Seychelles flight.

The chartered flight with registration number ZTA-4741 brought in 36 Nigerians comprising 29 males and seven females, while Air Seychelles with registration number SND-1 bought in four males into he country.

A mother of three has opened up on how suspected Boko Haram members abducted her in Maiduguri, Borno state capital, while on her way to the hospital.

The woman said she managed to escape after the vehicle in which she was being conveyed developed fault.

“On our arrival in Kano, the vehicle (in which she was conveyed) developed a problem I gained my consciousness and found that my body was strapped with explosive belt,” she said.
