Doyin Okupe Dumps PDP Says Party Has No Future In Nigeria

The former Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs to Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Dr. Doyin Okupe has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, saying the party has no future in Nigeria. The Ex-Jonathan’s aide who announced his resignation from the party via his Facebook page said the time has come to bid PDP good bye. He said his reasons for dumping the party is because of the internal crisis and other problems rocking it.

No fewer than 100 people suspected to be members of the dreaded Badoo cult were arrested over the weekend during a raid on their hideout by operatives of the Rapid Response Squad, RRS, of Lagos State Police Command, Anti-Robbery operatives, members of the Oodua Peoples Congress, OPC, and members of vigilante groups in Ikorodu.

Police sources disclosed yesterday that one of the Badoo suspects said that each ritual handkerchief used to wipe blood from the victim's skull after it's been broken was sold for N500,000.

Earlier today, I reported the story of suspected three badoo members caught in the early hours of today in Odogunyan Area of Ikorodu and burnt to death. They were caught in a jeep parked on Oju-Emuren street as our source described, well dressed in suits. 

Oil and grinding stone (popular instruments of the badoo gang) and charms were also found in their vehicle.

A disgruntled Ex-Doctor Kills One And Wounds Six In New York Hospital Shooting

A disgruntled doctor, Dr Henry Bello, a family physician who was fired from his job  at a Bronx hospital in 2015, hid a high powered rifle under a lab coat and had his ID with him when he walked into the hospital and started a shooting spree on  the 16th and 17th floors of the hospital, police sources say. He shot dead a female physician and seriously wounded six other doctors before setting himself on fire and shooting himself.




Witnesses described a chaotic scene as gunfire erupted, spreading terror throughout the medical facility as employees locked themselves inside rooms and patients feared for their lives.

Law enforcement officials identified the shooter as the 45-year-old Bello, who was described on the hospital website as a family medicine physician. Officials said Bello used an AR-15 assault rifle in the attack on the 16th and 17th floors.
