Woman arraigned in court for witchcraft after she fell from sky: A woman has been arraigned in Sapele Court after she was caught falling from the sky and landed in a police woman’s quarters in Sapele police barracks. She was alleged to have confessed to the crime and confirmed herself to be a witch.

A Facebook user who posted the news said that she confessed to being a witch and that she was on her way to Amukpe, Sapele, to kill one of her brothers named Fregene when she ran out of “fuel” and crash landed in police barrack, Sapele.

Lagos court remands lawyer in prison for stabbing her husband and cutting off his penis

An Igbosere High Court in Lagos on Monday remanded a 48-year-old female lawyer, Udeme Otike-Odibi, at Kirikiri prison for killing her 52-year-old husband, Symphorosa Otike-Odibi, and also chopping off his penis.
Udeme, 47, was arraigned by the Lagos State Government on charges of murder and misconduct with regard to a corpse.
She, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The Commissioner Of Police In Charge Of SARS Loses Son To Reprisal Killings In Plateau State Attacks


Zayyan Gwandu, son of Haliru Gwandu Abubakar, the Commissioner of Police in charge of the Special Anti-Robbery, has died.

Zayyan was one of the victims of reprisal attacks following the killings in three local government areas of Plateau State by suspected herdsmen.

Popular social commentator Gimba Kakanda shared the news of Zayyans death on Twitter, writing: “I’m devastated to learn about the killing of Zayyan Gwandu in the Plateau clash. He’s one of the travellers stopped and killed for sharing a religion or ethnicity with Fulani herdsmen. Killing fellow human beings for the wrong of people they don’t even know is savagery. Wow. RIP.”

A Video is currently trending online showing the moment a young man was rescued and arrested after allegedly jumping inside a lagoon in Lagos in a bid to kill himself. Rescuers at the Lagoon were swift to rescue the troubled young man after jumping into the water.

When he was being rescued and arrested, the young man (in black shirt) was shouting, 'let me just die, you people should leave me alone, what is in this life'.

Child Abuse: Husband And Wife Arrested For Torturing 13-Year-Old Nephew


A serial child molester, Mr Ifeanyi Akpa, a male and indigene of Onicha Igbeze of Onicha Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, who resides in Osubi Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State, was arrested today and handed to the police by Osubi community for the severe beating of his nephew, Chigozie Ogbu, 13 years old, who is living with him.

Comrade Friday Okpako, Osubi youth president, who alerted Orerokpe police, said there were several reports by neighbours of severe maltreatment and corporal punishment melted on the boy daily, by Mr Akpa and his wife Mrs Ngozi Akpa, who has four (4 ) children from the marriage.

Time Will Tell On My Position In APC, Says Saraki

Senate President, Abubakar Bukola Saraki, on Saturday declared that time will determine his position in the affairs of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Saraki noted that although he does not want to dwell on the issue of whether he is still wanted in APC or not, he said “time will tell what happens.”

The Senate President made the declaration at a farewell dinner for delegates of the International Press Institute (IPI) World Congress which he hosted in Abuja.

The Senate President was responding to a comment by the Chairman, Daily TrustNewspapers, Kabiru Yusuf, who praised him for going to Saudi Arabia to perform the Lesser Hajj, went to Russia where he addressed the Russian parliament and returned home to attend the APC convention “a party to which he belongs but which increasingly does not belong to him.”

According to insiders, Daniel reportedly drowned in a pool yesterday. A quick check on D’banj’s Instagram page showed beautiful photos of his father and son moment with Daniel.


While we still await a statement from the singer, it should be recalled that he held a secret wedding with his girlfriend Didi, at a low key ceremony both in Lagos and Abuja. Dbanj in a recent comment had said that his marital status was no body’s business.
