
For most people, it would be their worst nightmare - trapped in a tiny concrete pit surrounded by hundreds of deadly snakes.
But this young animal worker appears ice cool, chewing on gum and barely flinching as he comes face-to-face with the venomous cobras.
The snake handler was recorded cleaning out the beast's enclosure at a zoo in Southeast Asia.

Dressed in casual flip-flops, shorts and t-shirt, the young man enters the cramped pit holding a broom.
With expert composure, he simply lifts the snakes by their necks and tosses them to one side.
He is surrounded in the pit by hundreds of the dark black and grey snakes which could spit venom from their razor-sharp fangs at any minute.
