REVEALED! - IT IS NOW OFFICIAL, BUKOLA SARAKI IS A BRITISH CITIZEN!

A letter sent to Bukola Saraki's lawyer from the Disclosure of Information Department of Her Majesty's Passport Office, confirmed that Mr. Saraki is a British Citizen. He was issued a genuine British passport on 29th June 2006, and it will expire on 29th June 2016. Mr. Saraki’s lawyer, Andrew Stephenson of Discreet Law, London, also confirmed that the attached passport below, which was published by Sahara Reporters is a forged one.

A quick search we made on Andrew Stephenson shows that he is a media lawyer with experience in representing celebrities and politicians. According to his employer's website: “He has experience in advising clients facing intrusive or hostile media interest, and advising on issues arising from governmental inquiries and investigations both in England and internationally.”

The fact that Bukola Saraki is a British Citizen does not stop him holding certain public office in the UK or in Nigeria. This is because of the UK rules governing dual nationality of Commonwealth Citizens. However, the shambolic threats made by Bukola Saraki to sue the Sahara Reporters for defamation is now officially brought to rest. Saraki will never be able to sue and win over this case, as the major point of contention is cleared, that he is a British Citizen.

Bukola Saraki is facing several charges by the Code of Conduct Bureau Tribunal for money laundering and false declaration of assets. Furthermore, he is also facing several pending charges by the EFCC relating to money laundering and looting state resources. Meanwhile it still remains a mystery why the British Police are yet to cooperate with the Nigerian authorities in investigating the extent of Bukola Saraki's financial deals in the UK.

To demonstrate our determination in fighting corruption and holding our lawmakers to account, we at CUPS have decided to start initiating legal process to recall corrupt or unpatriotic Nigerian Senators from Parliament. Our first target are Senators among the 50 conspirators who held a secret meeting in Abuja on Saturday (19/9/2015) pledging to support Bukola Saraki against the Nigerian state. Their names are shown below:

1. Senator Bala Ibn Na'Allah (APC, Kebbi South)
2. Senator Samuel Anyanwu (PDP, Imo East).
3. Senator Dino Melaye (APC, Kogi West).
4. Senator Binta Garba Masi (APC, Adamawa North).
5. Senator Kabiru Gaya (APC, Kano South).
6. Senator Rafiu Ibrahim (APC, Kwara South).
7. Senator Hamma Misau (APC, Bauchi Central).
8. Senator Hope Uzodinma (PDP, Imo-West).
9. Senator Bukola Saraki (APC, Kwara Central).

Join us at our new Facebook platform called “Democracy in Action” for the latest developments on how to go about impeaching ill behaving Senators.

May God save Nigeria and Nigerians. Amen.

Dr. Idris Ahmed.
CUPS.
21/9/2015.
