According to a Vanguard source, the Ooni-elect may have called for the meeting to ask the chiefs what was ahead of him in Ilofi.
“He was in high spirits and exchanged pleasantries with people. He did not panic or wear any look that suggested he was displeased. He remains very calm and expectant,” the source added.
It was gathered that Ogunwusi was led to Ilofi in a convoy of few cars at about 4:40pm by the head of all deities in Ile-Ife and other members of Isoro cult.
