Truck Axle Narrowly Misses Woman Driving Her Kids To School (Photos)

A truck axle narrowly missed a mother driving her kids to school in Lackawanna County on Friday. Photos from local towing company Duchniks Towing show the axle piercing the vehicle's wind shield in front of the drivers seat. According to local reports, the vehicle was driving in the opposite direction of the truck when the truck's axle and tire broke away, before hitting the vehicle.
