A mother is usually there for all of her child’s firsts in life: there’s the dreaded first day of school, complete with a cute picture of her kid with a backpack that’s bigger than they are. There’s the first middle school dance with an accompanying awkward photo of them and their date. There’s the first high school volleyball game where some other kid’s mom is the loudest and most obnoxious cheerleader in the crowd. Firsts for parents are basically a right of passage.
And in this case, a dedicated mom of an aspiring “adult model” went above and beyond the duties of motherhood and was there for her daughter’s first ever adult film shoot. In a video clip posted by the company that shot the film, an off-camera interviewer asks the woman, “Who are you? And how come you’re here?"
“I’m her mom,” she says. “I gave her a ride here today. I truly believe if she chooses to try something new and I’m not aware of the company or the people she’s going to, I just want to make sure she’s safe.”
The woman continues to speak to the interviewer about supporting her daughter’s decision to do what she says “is essentially porn” (spoiler alert: it is porn), and states, “…She has the opportunity to make up her mind on her own and basically, whatever she choose to do, I want to be there to support her and make sure she’s safe doing whatever she’s going to do.”
The pair clearly has a very open and strong relationship, but the video gets really uncomfortable when the dude behind the camera asks if they would ever shoot a video together and the mom doesn’t exactly rule it out. The porn industry is weird.
