After she was challenged by the governor of Ekiti State Ayo Fayose to visit the United States to prove her innocence from the 1994 Halliburton Bribery Scandal where one Aisha Muhammadu Buhari was mentioned in court papers, the president's wife arrived USA capital Washington DC late Wednesday 3 August 2016.
In a video made available on Youtube, the president's wife who is attending a world first ladies' conference alongside Michelle Obama and other wives of world leaders, was seen welcomed at a purported Washington Airport by a large crowd of Nigerians before she was chauffeured off in a black car.
