Cristiano Ronaldo shook hands with Barcelona rival Lionel Messi.. The Portuguese was honoured with UEFA’s Best Player in Europe accolade during the Champions League draw in Monaco. The 32-year-old beat Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon to the award, and his long-time rival, Barcelona forward Lionel Messi.

The duo were – at least on the outside – keen to congratulate their fellow professional on his achievement, and of course, shook hands.
