'Respect Champions League. Never Walk Alone': Casillas Thanks Liverpool Fans For Standing Ovation On His Final Big Euro Game

Iker Casillas has taken to social media to thank Liverpool's supporters for giving him an outstanding reception in what could be his final Champions League appearance. The Porto keeper, who has the most appearances in the prestigious competition, has hinted his 171st Champions League game could be his last as he could end his stay in Europe this summer.  And Casillas has said Anfield was the perfect venue to host his last Champions League game due to the atmosphere within the stadium.

He wrote on Instagram accompanied with a picture of himself alongside Jurgen Klopp: 'Respect Champions League. Never walk alone.'
Casillas, who is out of contract in the summer, told Spanish media after the 0-0 draw at Anfield: 'If this was my Champions League farewell, it hasn't been a bad night at all – at this fantastic stadium, keeping a clean sheet... but no one knows what the future holds.
'My objective is to win the league with Porto because this group of players deserves to lift the trophy. We'll see what happens at the end of the season.
