Pastor Omodele Fatoyinbo, the wife of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) founder, has reacted to the allegations of rape against her husband.
Omodele who spoke during the Sunday morning service at the Abuja headquarters of the church, dismissed the accusations against her husband by Busola, wife of Timi Dakolo; popular Nigerian singer, saying that her husband is not a rapist.
“My husband is not a rapist. Even if he was not a believer, he would not be a rapist,” she said.

Also a senior pastor of the church, she charged the congregation that “no matter what the enemy meant for evil, God always turns it around for good,” shortly after some female members of the church gave testimonies on how “God used Pastor Fatoyinbo” to transform their lives. She went further to welcome newcomers to the church while calling on the congregants to celebrate their presence at the meeting.
“This is the authentic version of the COZA you heard about.,” she told the first timers.

This sun will not be kind to these protesters. But let's get it!

Declaring that “the Holy Spirit” and his mentors spoke to him about the decision, he urged interested members of the congregation to visit the church for daily prayers that would be held in place of the programme.
In a related development, The Cable reported that Folarin Ogunsolu, the pastor in charge at a branch of the church in Ikeja, Lagos, asked members not to be worried, saying the issue would be addressed.
“I saw the protesters outside, that is good. But, it won’t stop us from praising God. Don’t get worried people, we will address this matter,” he said.
