DURO-LADIPO THE INTERNATIONAL THEATRE GURU, THE THUNDER GOD ON STAGE.

In death, one's dream can be actualised. Indeed, Duro-Ladipo's dream of a museum of arts will come to light after 42 years of his exit.
The high hope of this dream made Duro-Ladipo to name his orita Basorun residence(bodewasinmi) a "HOUSE OF CULTURE".

On Monday, 17th February 2020, twenty-three days to the 42nd anniversary of his death, the CENTER FOR BLACK CULTURE AND INTERNATIONAL UNDERSTANDING Osogbo, Osun state will unveil DURO -LADIPO MUSEUM AND PHOTOGRAPHIC GALLERY.
The photographic gallery is designed to exhibit photo frames of Duro-Ladipo activities, performance and interaction with personalities while the museum displays his personal effects and theatrical materials.
