Starting today, August 3rd, bus conductors in Lagos will be required to wear a uniform and name tags for easy identification. This information was disclosed by Comrade Israel  Adeshola, the National President of the Bus Conductors Association of Nigeria, BCAN.

Israel Adeshola, the National President of Bus Conductors Association of Nigeria, BCAN, says that as from March it is mandatory for bus conductors in Lagos State to wear uniforms, name tags and badges.

Barclays Bank has asked expatriates, including Nigerians, with less than £100,000 deposit to close their accounts.

In a letter dated June 12, 2017, the bank informed the customers that would be affected by the policy of its decision to raise the minimum client balance requirement for international banking service.

“The new minimum level will now be £100,000. Top up your savings and investments to £100,000 or more before 1 August 2017, to continue with the service, or close your account and transfer your monies to another provider without charge,” the letter read.

British Airways Systems Crash For The Sventh Time In A Years Causing 'Total Chaos' For Holidaymakers At Heathrow, Gatwick And London City Airports

The technical fault sparked huge delays and queue at London's two biggest airports - Heathrow and Gatwick (pictured). Issues were also reported at London City. Pictures emerged of queues up to eight rows deep at the check-in desk of Gatwick Airport. Flights from the capital to destinations including, Athens, Milan, Malta, Malaga, Glasgow and Dubrovnik were all delayed by the fault. 

Some passengers were even stuck on planes on the runway as they waited for the issue to be resolved. While others were unable to check in online for their flights and were told they had been 'departed'. The glitch lasted around 20 minutes and Heathrow has said operations are running as normal. The airline said it was having to use a manual check-in process which takes longer than the computerized system.

Transgender Man Who Once Suffered Miscarriage Gives Birth To Boy

Trystan Reese, a transgender dad who lives in Portland, Oregon, US, and his gay husband Biff Chaplow have welcomed a baby boy.

Through a post on their Facebook page, the couple announced the arrival of their newborn.

No ID Number, No Nigerian Passport From 2018 - Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS)

The Nigeria Immigration Service says from January 1, 2018, anybody without the National Identification Number, issued by the National Identity Management Commission, will not be able to procure Nigerian passport.

It added that the condition applied to both first-time applicants and those renewing their expired document.

The Comptroller-General of the NIS, Mr. Mohammed Babandede, disclosed this to State House correspondents after a meeting of database harmonization committee at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, yesterday.

While under the knife the man was having fat moved from his torso down towards his genitalia.

However, the 30-year-old died following a leakage of the material injected into his penis.
The Swedish operation was revealed by the Journal of Forensic Sciences.
Although unnamed, the dead man was revealed to have died when fat moved into his lungs.

Gay men have been arrested en-masse in the largest city of Nigeria for performing ‘homosexual acts’.

Family Of Four Die In Their Sleep After Inhaling Generator Fumes In Kogi (Photo)

A man, his wife and two children on Friday, July 28th died in their sleep after inhaling fumes from a generator kept inside their house in Obajana area of Kogi state.

Tension started after the man identified as Mr. Ayodele Segun was not seen by his neighbours the following day.

According to reports, the deceased's cousin, Chief Richard Asaje said they had gone to check on him following the stench coming from his house but found out that his door was locked.

Policemen from Obajana Division were alerted and after forcefully opening the door, the decomposing bodies were discovered.

Ngozi Nmadu, a young barrister and a blogger gave up the ghost after being involved in the ghastly auto accident between a commercial bus and a petrol tanker on Friday.
