Secondary School Students In Ghana Burn Principal’s Car Over (WASSCE) Exam

Some 190 Senior High School students of the Kolege Senior High School at Darkuman Junction in Accra on Tuesday decided to burn their headmaster’s car and destroyed some other school properties.
A day before the students decided to embark on demonstration, the headmaster provided them with index numbers, but when they went to the West African Examinations council to verify their participation in the exams, they were told the index numbers were fake.
The students say, they have paid an amount of GH¢1100.00 as registration fee for the examinations and were ready for the exams but did not receive their index numbers which would enable them to write the first papers in the on-going West Africa Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (WASSCE)……………….
