The Executive Council of The Latter Rain Assembly, on Tuesday, said that the founder and senior pastor of the church, Pastor Tunde Bakare, was now recuperating at home.

Apparently reacting to the development, the leadership of the church on Tuesday allayed the fear that his health had taken a dip.
In a post on the Official Fanpage of Babatunde Bakare (Pastor Bakare) on facebook, the church authorities noted that he was now resting at home.
The post, entitled "Pastor 'Tunde Bakare's Health: Situation Update," reads: "Thank you all for your outpouring of affection and concern through calls, messages, and prayers.
"Please be assured that Pastor 'Tunde Bakare is hale, hearty and in good spirits, though in need of rest.
"We therefore ask everyone to please remain calm and give him the space and time to fully recuperate over the next few days. Thank you all once again."
It was signed by the Executive Council of The Latter Rain Assembly.
The online medium reported that Bakare collapsed while giving a lecture to a gathering of investors. It quoted a close associate of the pastor as saying that the collapse was due to 'exhaustion.'
