The news about how a 29-year-old man, Calvin Alfayo popularly known as Mohammed, defiled a 10-year-old girl and posted on his Facebook wall broke the internet but few hours later on Tuesday, October 4, he has been arrested.
It was reported that the Sotik police officers, arrested Alfayo at the border of Chebilat after his post went viral on social media, as Kenyans were calling for his immediate arrest and prosecution. According to Sotik OCPD, Jonathan Ngala he disclosed that Alfayo is suspected to have defiled a standard four student and had the nerves to brag about it on the social media.

Ngala added that, the rapist was arrested at the trading center at around 11:00 at a cyber café. Adding that the man has been trailed by detectives from Sotik police station, who were dispatched after his post emerged. Alfayo’s phone has been confiscated in order to help the police in their investigations and also set to appear in court on Wednesday, October 5, as the police are still in search of the young girl assaulted by Alfayo.
