Customs cops arrested an Ecuadorian man at Kennedy Airport after they found cocaine hidden in three cans of tuna, officials said.
Jaime Macias, 21, had just landed on a flight from the city of Guayaquil. As he was going through an inspection, Customs and Border Patrol agents found the tuna and three cans of corn in his checked baggage, officials said.

They took him to a private search room and checked the food. The cans all tested positive for cocaine — seven pounds of it, worth about $127,000 on the street — officials said.
Macias was arrested for drug smuggling and handed off to the Homeland Security Investigations unit.
