Identical Twins Give Birth Hours Apart In Adjacent Hospital Rooms

A pair of identical twin sisters gave birth just hours apart at the same hospital last month, with their partners both named William supporting them.

Rachael McGeoch and Beccy Pistone, 34, were thrilled when they found out their due dates were just 13 days apart.

The twins had joked how great it would be if they gave birth on the same day in the same place.



However, Rachael lives in Charleston, Massachusetts, while her sister lived two hours away on Cape Cod.

‘I wanted to give birth by midwife so I chose Mount Auburn Hospital,’ Rachael told CBS News. ‘Hoped to convince my sister to do the same, but she lives on the Cape, so she and her husband wanted to have their baby on Cape Cod.’

Rachael’s due date was August 1, and by August 13, Beccy’s due date, she still hadn’t given birth.
