Father Of Five Butchers His Wife With Machete In Akwa Ibom

On Monday morning, panic ensued after a Vulcan named Nkere-Uta allegedly slaughtered his wife Bella with a machete in the community of Mbiabam Ibiono in the state of Akwa Ibom.

According to reports, the deceased woman was a tough woman. He worked as a retailer with five children and was said to be loved by those they knew.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Akwa Ibom State, Odiko McDon, confirmed the incident. He said the suspect had been arrested by the Itam branch of the Nigerian police.
