Following the sudden disappearance of the two teenage girls that were raped, tortured and videotaped by a group of men in Ondo town, indication emerged from the police source yesterday that the victims were abducted for prostitution in Igbekodo town, a riverine community in Ogun State.
It will be recalled that five suspects, Bode Akinsiku, Olabanji Femi, Abiodun Ayodele, Fadairo Wahab, and Adedayo Adebayo, were alleged to have lured the two teenagers to the house of one of the suspects located at Kogbona street in the town where they were raped.
The suspects after allegedly forcefully having carnal knowledge of the victims, also allegedly stripped them naked, tortured, videotaped them and later posted the same video on the Facebook and other social media.

The five suspects were arrested by the police and were subsequently arraigned before a Chief Magistrate Court in the town where they were remanded in prison custody.
However, the parents of the victims had raised an alarm over the disappearance of the girls and also wrote a report and petition to the station.
The police source said the girls were allegedly abducted from Ondo town to an unknown destination by two persons whose names were given as Imole and Toyin Akinsiku who are a family member and wife of one of the suspects respectively.
The source said the teenagers who ran away from their abductors later came back to Ondo town on Saturday, during which a source hinted the police and the girls were discovered by the police including their abductors.
Recounting their ordeals to Journalists, the two teenage girls alleged that they were captured by one Mrs. Imole and Mrs. Toyin Akinsiku immediately they left the court on the day of the arraignment of the suspects.
“We were going back home in the company of one of our friends, Posi Olarewaju, on the fateful day, when the two women crossed us, they forced us to climb an Okada and moved towards Awoyaya area along Ondo/Ore highway in Ondo town, where we later boarded a bus going to Lagos.
“We stopped on the way and entered another bus, we boarded about five vehicles and later entered a flying boat, before we could get to the place. At a time, we didn’t know the name of the town, until the third day before we could ask somebody.
“Our abductors handed us over to a woman who specialized in the hotel business, we were made to do prostitution in the hotel, we slept with more than 15 men on a daily basis at the end, the woman that owned the hotel gave us N500.00 daily.
At times, we were made to hawk pure water during the week, but when it was weekends we would be inside the hotel for “short-term” business. We later ran away from the town and entered a flying boat.
“After we came down from the flying boat, we trekked several kilometers, before we could ask somebody who later showed us the way to Lagos, we also asked where we could get bus going to Ojota, where we got a vehicle which later took us back to Ondo, at times, on our way, we sit on one another’s lap so that we could manage our money”, they stated.
Similarly, in a petition jointly written by the parents of the two teenagers, Mrs. Hellen Victor and Josephine Ademolu, entitled: “Re-abduction and trafficking of our daughters” and directed to the Area Commander of the Nigeria Police, Ondo Area Command, alleged that their daughters were abducted since Thursday 17th of May, 2018 by one Mrs. Imole and Toyin Akinsiku..
The petition read in part: “Our daughters who have been missing since 17th of May, 2018 came back home and explained to us that they were abducted by one Mrs. Imole and Toyin Akinsiku to an unknown place around Igbekodo in Ogun State, Nigeria”
“According to our children, all these was done to frustrate the ongoing trial of Bode Akinsiku and his gang on the alleged rape, torture and videotaping of our children. We were also informed by our children that they were made to sleep with many men for business purposes” the petition alleged.
Reacting to the development, the Area Commander in charge of Ondo Area Command of the Nigeria Police, Mr. Ojugbele Adebayo, an Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) confirmed the arrest of one Toyin Akinsiku over the matter.
