The virgin ceremony also called Iria ceremony is a tradition, which every girl from the community must go through before being given out in marriage.It is believed that the girls are usually critically screened by the elders, in the community before being allowed to participate in the ceremony.The event is post held recently at Ogu community in Rivers State.Continue to see more photos from the event.
