Penultimate week, the metropolis area of ancient city of Ibadan was hit with the dastardly tragic news of how some popular happening guys mainly known as ‘Yahoo Boys’, lost their precious lives untimely to the cold pangs of death, via a ghastly motor accident which occurred in the Oni & Sons area of the popular Ring Road, Ibadan. As shocking and unfortunate as the news was then, many were not sure of what actually happened and how it did. Fresh facts have however emerged on how these fun-loving guys, mostly in their early twenties, met their untimely death. According to our very impeccable source, the guys five boys and a girl, were said to have been
on a rendezvous and fun streak at a popular nigh club in Ibadan known as Infinity Nite Club.
The six, after having a swell time drinking, bantering and enjoying
themselves to the hilt, and spending recklessly and lavishly on assorted
items available in the exotic club, were said to have packed themselves
into a Toyota Corolla salon car, at about 11.20 p.m
and drove off in a very high speed amidst merriment and over
excitement. It was in the course of this recklessly high speed and
youthful exuberance that the driver lost control and rammed into an
on-coming BMW car, occasioning a very ghastly auto
crash. We gathered that, four of them died immediately on the spot of
the crash while two narrowly survived and are still on intensive care in
the hospital. The two survivors were the driver and another occupant of
the car; just as the owner of the oncoming BMW car that was rammed into
was said to have gone into coma immediately after the crash. The guy
who is popularly known as ‘I Love from London’, was said to have been in Nigeria on holiday from London,
and was apparently returning home from a night-out when the tragedy
struck. His condition, as at the time of filing in this story could not
be ascertained, but his coma status was very much confirmed when the
gory incident happened. Conversely, we gathered from our ever reliable
source that one of the two survivors among the yahoo guys in the
high-speeding Toyota Camry Car, was identified as Temitope Alatishe, while the lady, who died alongside the four, was simply identified as Bisola and was supposedly learnt to be nursing a one year-old baby. In the same development, we scooped that the Toyota Camry car used by the young chaps during their disastrous rendezvous was owned by one Abubakar,
a very popular and happening guy in the city of Ibadan, who on account
of his successful exploits as a ‘yahoo boy’, boasts of three big and
imposing properties in Ibadan alone, not to talk of other possessions
like exotic

is believed to be the topmost guy among the lot in the yahoo business
in the Pacesetter state of Oyo, as he could afford all the luxuries of
life by way of lavish spending. Others in the crashed car apart from Temitope, Abubakar, Salisu and Bisola are Johnson and Dube,
all of whom died except the two survivors. The accident, according to
our source, was said to have occurred shortly before midnight
penultimate Thursday night around Oni & Sons area on the Ring Road,
in Ibadan, Oyo state. Three of them were buried two Fridays ago, while the two survivors and the BMW
owner were said to still be in coma, receiving intensive care at an
undisclosed hospital. A glance at the remnants of the two collided
vehicles, as depicted, will surely leave much in the imagination of
people, as it will be difficult to believe that there was indeed a
survivor in the tragic event. It was no doubt a case of extreme youthful
 exploits.
