The family of a woman killed in a hit-and-run accident is asking for help in bringing the driver to justice. Dolly Ogunsakin said she and Nikki Ogunjemilusi were crossing Claremont Road last Friday night when a vehicle struck Ogunjemilusi. "Honestly, I didn't even see it," said Ogunsakin. "One of the people around said it was a sedan." The vehicle kept going. Ogunjemilusi was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. Nikki's family said they moved from Nigeria about 12 years ago. After first living in Minnesota, they moved to Dacula about 10 years ago. "My dad, he wants justice. That is one thing my dad keeps calling for – justice," said Chrisy Akinropo, Nikki's sister. "Please if you know anyone, help us bring justice." A friend of the family said that DeKalb County police are searching for a silver Honda Accord with front end damage. Police could not be reached by FOX 5 to confirm that. The family said that Nikki's funeral will be held next Saturday. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call authorities. RIP Nikki! May the Lord console the family.
