On Wednesday, May 21, 2014, St. Peters & St Paul's Church, High Street, Grays Town Centre, Grays, Essex, London, wore a grim look. The congregation looked funeral. The occasion was the funeral service of Oluremi Joy Oluranti Ademuyiwa, the wife of Akeem Dipo Abdulsalam, the controversial socialite. Amidst
palpable tears, sorrow and wailing, the remains of Oluremi were later committed to Mother Earth at Chadwell St. Mary Cemetery, Brentwood Road, Grays, Essex. |
Oluremi passed away last April. She was aged 35. Her body was discovered at her London flat, almost ten days after she had passed. The young lady was alone with her two kids- Omar, her four year old son and and Zee, her two year old daughter. It was gathered that the kids, who, obviously were oblivious of the fact that their mother had died, were in the flat for several days, with her decomposing body, before a family friend came around and discovered what happened.
The ELITES gathered that Oluremi's husband, Dipo Abdulsalam was frozen out of the preparation and planning of the burial. Although he was in attendance at the funeral, with a coterie of his friends, Dipo was denied the honor of paying a tribute to his late wife. The role he played at the funeral was less than passive, and most of the guests in attendance refused to acknowledge him as the chief mourner.
It was gathered that, in the course of planning and preparing for the funeral, Oluremi's family had invited Dipo to a couple of meetings. However, the family refused to carry him along with the scheme of the preparation. Sources disclosed that the Oluremi's relatives are grieved with the fact that their daughter died a miserable, depressed and frustrated woman. They alleged that Dipo, maltreated and
drove their daughter to the state of depression, which eventually led to her death. Still smarting from the sorrow of losing their beloved daughter, the grieving family members are being inundated with disturbing reports, which center on what Dipo has been telling his friends. According to the report, the very controversial socialite has been telling whoever cares to listen that Oluremi was depressed because she went into a state of mental abysmal after the birth of her second child. Predictably, this unsavory claim, being credited to Dipo has been stirring a swirl of angst among Oluremi's family friends. And they have vowed to engage him in a fresh battle.
