According to eyewitnesses, the carpenter was reportedly beaten with the ‘staff’ till it broke, with Chris Ngige’s security restraining him at some point.
An eyewitness claimed that the carpenter who was asked to work on an unoccupied land by one “Mr Tope” of PPIP LVI, was asked to stop work by Chris Ngige, which he complied without hesitation. However, the Minister reportedly resorted to attacking him with his staff.
