On Friday the 23rd of Sept 2016 at about 8:00a.m in Nyenjei village in Batibo Sub division,a lady by name Acha Valentina delivered a baby boy by herself and dump the child some 50-meters away from her home.As God does his things a lady from that same neighborhood was rushing to the toilet and heard a baby crying and instead of rushing to the toilet she diverted her interest and raised an alarm.
Everybody who was present in the neighborhood went out to see the baby including the concern and as such the baby was rushed to St.John of God Hospital Batibo where he is presently responding to treatment and investigations are ongoing as the suspect who is under detention accepted to have committed the act and gave her reason as being a mother of 7,married and do not knw what pushed her to do what she did. Investigations are ongoing .
