Some ‘Area Boys’ in Oshodi took to the streets angrily to call on the executives of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) to stop its executives, MC Oluomo, Koko Zaria from collecting levies in the area from commercial buses.
The group via a video that has gone viral on Facebook, was led by Adedigba Adepegba a.k.a Taloskibo said they have been marked for execution by the said executives.
This reaction comes after the burial of the chieftain and politician Aro Rasaq Bello (Hamburger) who was gunned down by unknown gunmen in Shogunle Oshodi during a political rally in the area.
Taloskibo who spoke on behalf of his gang said that out of 15 notable in the group, 9 have been killed.
“We were 15, Mc Oluomo has killed 9, and they’ve said I’m the next on the list, please I don’t want to die,” he said,
He also explained how the whole scenario started at the rally ground before the death of Hamburger.
He went on to call on the state Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode and the leader of the ruling party APC National Leader, Bola Tinubu to intervene on the matter before it gets out of hand.
