THE GREAT DECEIT OF POPULAR NIGERIAN BLOGGER LINDA IKEJI

                                                            2:18, 2:48-3:00

Linda Ikeji, Entrepreneur and Blogger seems to have forgotten so soon the popular maxim that says and I quote  ''You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time''.

To become a successful liar, these are the couple of rules to remember - NEVER lie to anybody who is more intelligent and brilliant than you. NEVER lie to anybody who has an al-mighty magnetic memory and NEVER tell lies with numbers/figures Knowing fully well that not everybody on earth has lost the ability to reason substantially- Not yet.

The Lie
'If a man's tongue becomes poisoned with lying and its filth appears on him, its effects are like the effects of the autumn wind on the leaves of trees.'

I refer to a recently uploaded video on YOUTUBE 'LINDA IKEJI ON THE JUICE WITH TOOLZ' which at the 2:18th minute of the video,  Popular blogger Linda Ikeji claimed to have started her blog in the year 2006.

Again, at the 2:48th minute of the video, In her words and I quote ''I started the blog in 2006, I din't start getting many readers until March 2007..I ran the blog four years without making money..''

'Lying extinguishes the light of man's existence and lights the fire of treachery in him. It also has an amazing effect in terminating the ties of unity and harmony between men and spreads hypocrisy. As a matter of fact, a great deal of misguidance springs from false claims and empty words.

For men with evil intentions, deceit is an open door to help them reach their selfish goals by concealing the facts behind their magical words and capturing innocent people with their poisonous lies. We are alterocentric whose life revolves around other people, must we then not be careful what springs from us?

The Truth
The truth is not far-fetched. What else is more glaring than a glare itself. The truth will always come out, no matter how long it takes. 'This is a good thing for people who were falsely accused and quite a murderous thing for people who have told a lot of white lies.'

Taking a detailed look at Linda Ikeji's profile on blogger, it is evident enough that the popular blogger's existence is noticeably printed ''On Blogger Since December 2010'' as seen on the screen print below OR could 'Blogspot.com' have made an error as to Linda Ikeji's blog existence. OR isn't that thesame blog Linda Ikeji claimed she started in the year 2006 in the YOUTUBE video ''LINDA IKEJI ON THE JUICE WITH TOOLZ''  OR perhaps we need clarifications of the figures and the dates if Blogger.com got it wrong.

Suffice me to make a fresh reminder of  a one time thought of  the popular radio and tv presenter Toke Makinwa's thoughts about Linda Ikeji. In her words, I quote  ''I don’t think Linda Ikeji is a role modelShe’s a gossiper, She sells gossip’.
Another source states Makinwa even appealed to her listeners not to take the likes of popular US blogger Perez Hilton and Miss Ikeji seriously. Are we not right to then conclude at this stage that Toke Makinwa's thoughts must have contained some element of truth.

The Note of The Lie

If this lie is to impress and imprint upon us that dilligence pay off? Then, We make bold to note that lying is morally wrong and even anecdotal evidence seems to suggest truthful entrepreneurs are more successful than their deceitful counterparts. Linda Ikeji claims to be an entrepreneur afterall - thereby giving other entrepreneurs a bad name.

When we lie to impress people, we do it to make others think we are cool and if we really think about it, that's the part that is not even an inch cool! Lying to impress other people leaves them completely unimpressed.

Furthermore, If the lie is a popular excuse for ''Everyone always wants to fit in with the crowd so they lie about things to make them fit in.'' What happens when the plan backfires?
A good reminder of the afore mentioned point is ''The 2012 winner of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria beauty pageant Isabella Ayuk was reportedly disqualified from the Miss World beauty pageant.
Reports say Ayuk, a pageant veteran, was disqualified by the Miss World pageant organizers because she falsified her age.
Many critics accused her of reducing her age to fit into the age bracket.''

My Concern

So... their elephant says to my camel "why do you have 2 boobs on your back?" My camel replies "that's a pretty stupid question coming from someone who has a dick on his face"

GREAT LEADERS DO NOT LIE, IT IS BAD BUSINESS. Even exaggeration blows up credibility. Don't just Do it!

Leaders depend on the trust and loyalty of their followers.  If you are going to truly take upon yourself a Role Model, your followers expect  that you be in your best to inspire and motivate them to glory and not the other way round of altercating numbers/figures.

Why would a leader lie, when clearly they understand the negative consequences of being caught in that lie?. Well, I know the why of the whys - They rarely think about the possible conclusions, claiming that "no one will ever discover their secrets."

On a note of conclusion, 'liars will eternally become covered with shame, failure and disgrace. As soon as somebody realises that you are a liar (and, sooner or later, that always happens) you have lost their trust and destroyed your own credibility forever. Not only that, they are likely to warn other people about you so that you lose a great deal of respect.'

However, in one thing I am very confident - GREAT LEADERS DO NOT LIE, THEY FULFILL GREAT EXPECTATIONS AND PUT AWAY FROM THEM ''GREAT DECEIT''.
